The Bom Dia Sailing Boat

Runs 3 trips and allows you to experience the peace and tranquillity of travelling under the power of the wind (weather permitting).

Trip1. The Bay of Lagos, on this daily cruise we will sail out into the Bay of Lagos and continue along the most impressive caves and rock formations on the coast. Around lunchtime we anchor off in a quite and sheltered bay near ponta da piedade. On board will we prepare a traditional Portuguese lunch with wine and BBQ sardines, potatoes and salad. Naturally there is an opportunity to swim or sunbathe. And then our captain will escort you for a visit into the magnificent grottos with a smaller boat.

Trip2. Lagos to Sagres, On this historical journey we'll take you along the 'golden coast' to Sagres, where all the great navigators sailed out to discover the new world. The trip begins with coffee, cake and a sip of the local 'firewater'. Along the way you can also see the Rocha Negra (the black rock) of Luz and the fishing villages of Burgau and Salema. At lunchtime we will arrive in Sagres. There you can enjoy the view over the harbour while having a two-course meal with wine in a restaurant. After our stay in Sagres we will welcome you back on board and our crew will set sail for the journey back to Lagos. Relaxing, sunbathing and refreshing drinks from our on board bar will make your day complete.

Trip3. Grottos Trip, a short trip with one of our schooners close along the coast including a visit into the grottos of 'ponta da piedade' with smaller boats (incl.wine).

Speed Cruises & Dolphin Seafaris
Along with another 11 passengers you will be comfortably seated in our 9 metre rib. An inflatable semi-ridgid boat (also used by navy, coastguards, offshore industry and greenpeace.) The boat is powered by a 300hp turbo diesel inboard engine and meets the highest safety standards.

The rib's crew has many years of commercial maritime experience as well as being multilingual to ensure a great time is had by all. The goal, we aim to show you all the attractions the coast has to offer combined with the thrill of high speed ocean travel, due to the boat's fast horizontal speed you won't suffer from seasickness (100% refund, not including faking or hangover!! The flight schedule,

1. Baywatch, a 45 minute speed cruise through Lagos bay and surroundings. Passing slowly along beaches and the grottos of ponta da piedade, speeding toward the black rock and luz with some exciting spins across the bay and along meia praia.

2. Coastal Cruise, a high speed adventure along the scenic coast. Lagos (grottos), luz, burgau, salema and back. Photo stops at every village.

3. Dolphin Seafaris, early morning Bom Dia speed cruises heads out to accompany the dolphins. A guaranteed experience of a lifetime.
